Congregational Life

Covenant URC is privileged to be a multi-generational church with all age groups represented and involved in congregational life. We are blessed to have several active ministries and studies that connect us to each other and help us to grow in our Christian walk.

Sunday School and Catechism Instruction

During the academic year, Sunday school classes instruct children ages 3 years–2nd grade in the core truths of the Bible. The youth in 3rd–12th grade attend Catechism classes to learn about the deep, beautiful truths of the Christian faith. An Adult Sunday School Class focuses on one book of the Bible at a time using various Study Guides.

Bible Studies

Covenant hosts various Bible studies throughout the week during the academic year. These include Tuesday Night Adult Bible Study, Ladies' Bible Study, and Young Adults.

Kingdom Seekers & Cadets

Every other Wednesday night the girls in the congregation meet for Kingdom Seekers and the boys meet for Cadets. This is open to youth grades 3–8. Meetings consist of fellowship, Bible study and craft or project.

Young Peoples

The high school aged youth attend Young People's Society. They meet twice a month and enjoy dinner, singing, and a Bible lesson. For five days every summer, they attend the national Reformed Youth Services Convention.

Young Adults

Our Young Adults (college-age and up) meet together regularly for Bible study and fellowship. Together they have worked through The Gospel in Life: Grace Changes Everything (Tim Keller), an intense study of Philippians, and a comprehensive overview of the New Testament.
